Who Made The Naughty List

I’m participating in THE NAUGHTY LIST WRITING TAG,  created by Jenna Moreci.  This is a fun tag where I answer 10 questions using my original characters from The Unwanted Series.  I have my WIP Reign in the brain; familiar characters from Magick with a few more quirks and quips.  Do you agree with my list?  Comment below if you have a difference of opinion… 🙂THE QUESTIONS:

#1 Which character is SO into the holidays, they nearly cause a street-wide power outage from all their Christmas lights?

Lucy.  It’s the most wonderful time of the year, duh.  Christmas music is playing non-stop and if you can’t get in the spirit something is going on.  Bring on the cozy sweaters and socks.

#2 Which character attends the office new years party with ONE date…and goes home with someone else?

Emily.  Her motto, never be tied down because it slows down potential fun.  When Emily gets to Valhalla she wants to be able to say she lived life to the fullest.

#3 Which character is more than happy to steal Hanukkah gelt from poor, unsuspecting children? [Note: Hanukkah gelt = chocolate coins]

Coral.  She is all about herself and by god if she wants a chocolate coin, she is going to have a chocolate coin! The fact she steals it may not even cross her mind because she is privileged and feels everything is hers because of who and where she comes from.

#4 Fill in the blanks: I saw ____[character]____ doing a whole lot more than ____[verb]____-ing Santa Claus. They were full on ____[action]____.

I saw Rhydian doing a whole lot more than harassing Santa Claus.  They were full-on combat mode. You can’t come down the chimney without proper clearance, it’s home invasion of the Wiccan Queen!

#5 One of your characters decides to pregame before church and passes out in the middle of the Christmas service. Which character is it?

Cross.  Although he’s a guardian, he isn’t into blind faith and religion it’s what destroyed his family.  In order to get him to a church service, he’d require a direct order from an officer and liquid courage.

#6 Which character hasn’t been seen since winter began because they refuse to deal with the snow?

Quinn.  Snow although lovely at first, it gets muddy and sloppy.  Quinn is tidy and likes organization, snow when it gets worn with people forget-about-it.  Ugh.

#7 Which character completely forgot about the holidays and ends up regifting to everyone?

Willow.  It’s been a heck of a year and just too much on her mind while going back and forth from Chepstow, Massachusetts to Edayri.  It’s Christmas already? Crap!

#8 Which character has such crappy luck, they only discover their potato allergy after pigging out on latkes?

Marco.  A growing teenage boy/shapeshifter given a smorgasbord of food? Yep, he’s diving in and taking the test drive across the offerings.  He doesn’t always eat so well, so trying everything is always on his list of to-dos.

#9 The Krampus has arrived to punish your very bad characters. Which character is kinda into it?

Tullen.  His curious nature, Tullen would want to understand the motivation and legend behind Krampus.  Also the physical challenge to it – bonus!

#10 One of your characters should be on the naughty list, but has convinced Santa to clear their name. Which character is it, and what was their means of persuasion?

Evan.  His background in psychology he would convince Santa to give him a break.  He’s a victim of circumstance and no one can blame him directly– they should, in fact, ensure Sabine and Harkin are on the naughty list for all they have done to him.

Any author who would like to participate I tag you – you’re it! Enjoy and continue onward with The Naughty List Writing Tag.
